See some posts from November/December here for info regarding the wisdom of such as merger. In a nutshell, Putnam has said that it's a race for market share. INET's share (both mind and market) would be immediately accretive to AX. In the wake of the PCX options bidness, it's starting to be clear the Putnam and his team are driving a NASCAR in what's traditionally been a school zone!
